Hi, I’m Taleisha, your Certified Prenatal Dietitian.
I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a broad range of experience having worked as a dietitian in both regional and rural Queensland for many years with a stint abroad in the UK. Throughout this time, I’ve had the privilege of working with pregnant women and their families to optimise their nutrition.
After experiencing my own pregnancy and seeing first-hand how food and nutrition is intertwined with so many parts of pregnancy - like those weird cravings for steak I had never had before! And, of course, I asked all of those usual questions - what vitamins should I take? Is feta really ok to eat during pregnancy? Will a coffee really impact my baby? So I trained as a certified prenatal dietitian and became a member of the Early Life Nutrition Alliance so I can help other Mums and their babies!
I’m a big lover of food and believe that balance is truly the key to great health! I work with clients to develop healthy habits without compromising on taste and lifestyle. I am holistic in my approach to life and therefore holistic in my approach to your prenatal care.
When I’m not in clinic, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my little family, chasing my baby and fur baby, sipping on a glass of wine with friends, or on the mat practising yoga or pilates.
If you are ready to learn more about prenatal nutrition and have the best start for your baby, please reach out to see how I can help you. I am so excited to work with you
